Summary

Old Testament
The bible starts off with the books of creation. These books tell the story of God creating the world. It took him 7 days to create all that we live in. He then goes on explaining the stories of the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. Then, throughout the rest of the Old Testament, he tells stories of Jews and there fight for their beliefs. Stories of how god spoke tom chosen people and had them spread his word from person to person. Famous stories from the Old Testament include; Noah’s Ark, the Seven Plagues, Moses and the Parting of Waters, and the Burning Bush. All these stories show how god took place in people’s lives for centuries, up until the end of BC. At the end of BC, the Old Testament ends and the New Testament begins.

New Testament
The New Testament marks the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God’s one and only son. Jesus was born human but was just as mighty and powerful as God. He was born by the Virgin Mary, in a stable in Bethlehem. From there, shepherds and wise men crossed lands to see this new son of God, They laid presents where baby Jesus laid and prayed to the lord, thanking him. Throughout the Old Testament, people had been wanting for the prophecy of a King of Jews to be sent to earth, and now he’d finally arrived. Throughout Jesus’ life he affected many people. He preached God’s teachings to people across the known world, telling them of God’s wonder. Famous storied of the New Testament include: the Bread and Fish that fed 5,000, the Walking on Waters, the Last Supper, and Jesus’ Crucifixion. Jesus was arrested for “false preaching” and claiming to be the son of god (which according to the bible he truly was). He was trailed then sentenced to crucifixion. He died upon a cross days later. Jesus’ death stood for human sins. God says that Jesus died on the cross so our sins may be forgiven. 3 days later, Jesus rose from the dead. Showing everyone he truly was the son of god, and could overcome death, then rose into heaven.
